Quantum's THXKD-02 DLT-IV is a Digital linear Tape 4(DLT-4) format tape cartridge. It has a 557 meters tape length which enables a native data storage capacity of 40GB that can be expanded up to 80GB when compressed. It features the use of latest advances in binder chemistry and uses a unique high-grade metal particle formulation. By bringing together both solid and liquid lubricants in the tape binder system, tape and head wear are reduced while repelling airborne particles that could affect read and write head performance. This tape media has a data transfer rate of 6MB/s.The Quantum THXKD-02 DLT-IV tape cartridge has an archival life of 30 years and is approved by ANSI X3B5 and adapted by ECMA and ISO.
